The apricots
Described as a “nostalgic sonic heat wave,” The Apricots are an indie-folk-rock band from Portland, OR. Connecting the dots between 70s folk-rock and confessional storytelling of the modern singer-songwriter, their music is rooted in contemplation of identity and purpose.
The Apricots began as a folk trio in 2017, but grew into a full band of five over the last few years (Chloé Serkissian on guitar/vocals, Molly Evered on keys/vocals, Jeremy Reeves on bass/vocals, Jake Mackie on guitar/synth, and Logan Hazen on drums). The Apricots drift between tender and electric, making listeners swoon one minute and groove the next.

“BIG DADDY LOVE IS A FORCE. THE FESTIVAL SCENE HAS BEEN EATING THEM UP. If you haven’t been able to check them out yet, then you are missing out. IT’S A FOOT-STOMPING GOOD TIME AT EVERY SINGLE SHOW, AND THEY ARE THE NICEST GUYS I HAVE MET IN MUSIC.”
