Heather Pierson

Heather Pierson is a singer/songwriter, pianist and song leader with a passion for cultivating joy both onstage and off. Heather's latest album, Back To The Light, was released in September 2024, recorded ‘live on the floor’ at Acadia Recording Company in Portland, ME with her trio mates Shawn Nadeau on bass and drummer Craig Bryan. This album of Heather's originals pulsates throughout with the grooves of New Orleans, the beauty of Appalachia, and Sunday-go-to-meeting celebration.  Her March 2025 single, ‘We Will Take Care of Each Other’, has become a staple at folk radio and in community singing circles around the world.

Heather’s live performances featuring her bell-tone vocals and ease at the piano are infused with happiness, self-reflection, and a genuine desire to connect and share from the heart. She takes this on tour across the U.S. with her partner Shawn Nadeau on bass and harmony vocals as Heather Pierson Duo, and also with Craig Bryan on drums and harmony vocals for Heather Pierson Trio and Heather Pierson Trio—Charlie Brown Christmas. Some of her notable experiences include stages at Wildflower Arts & Music Festival (TX), Kerrville Folk Festival (TX), Old Songs Festival (NY), South Florida Folk Festival, Woodstock Folk Festival (IL), Joe Davies Folk Festival (MA), MainStay Fall Festival (MD), and a faculty teaching position at New Orleans Traditional Jazz Camp. 

Heather and Shawn earned an Official Showcase at Folk Alliance International in both 2023 and 2025.
