Full Cord

Full Cord is an award winning bluegrass band from Grand Haven, Michigan, known for tight harmonies, sharp songwriting, and a live set that balances tradition with adventurous edges. Formed in 2008, the band’s name comes from an early gig where Eric (guitar & also a sawyer) spotted their instruments piled up and joked it looked like a “full cord of wood.”In 2022, Full Cord won the Telluride Bluegrass Festival Band Contest and was named IBMA Momentum Band of the Year, a one two punch that helped put them on the national bluegrass map. Their Dark Shadow debut, Cambium (2023), captures the band’s range: driving originals, tasteful genre cross pollination, and serious chops.

New singles featuring their friend Billy Strings, set for release in 2026 will venture into their live shows, showcasing the tight harmonies and spine-tingling instrumental pairings the band is known for by its fans.
